My name is Anna Harris and I am a Certified Professional Health Coach. When was the last time you talked with someone about your health and wellness and received the personal attention you deserve? It’s rare for anyone to get an hour to work on their nutrition and life goals with a trained professional. As a Health Coach, I create a supportive environment that will enable you to achieve all of your health goals and motivate you to do so. I run a company called Active Path Health Coaching where I teach individuals how to make small sustainable health and wellness changes that have a huge impact on their life such as weight loss, improved energy and motivation and feeling incredibly positive about life in general.
But really? My work is all about teaching people about food, health, and positive lifestyle choices. Because nutrition and health and feeling amazing don’t have to be complicated and I’m here to prove it. My specialty is working with busy Mom’s who are looking to improve their own health and happiness and that of their family. I am enormously passionate about working with, teaching, motivating and cheerleading women to find their best path to health, wellness, energy and to truly love the person they are. I believe strongly that healthy whole food living for the entire family creates household harmony and I teach you how to get there. I always find these bio pages slightly awkward. Let me tell you a bit of my story. I’ve always been keen and passionate about sports, health, nutrition, family and whole food living. For 15 years I had a busy corporate career in Human Resources which provided a good paycheque for my family, a degree of career satisfaction and I did meet some very awesome people along the way. But there was always something missing. Actually, there were lots missing. My education and training were in employee engagement, innovative recruiting and entrepreneurial business practices – but my passion was somewhere else entirely. I was so drained from my job that the really important.

The Bold Steps to Family Wellness Program is individualized based on the issues you are currently dealing with. Every session will be custom tailored to your situation and give you take away tools and confidence to tackle your next BOLD STEP. In every program we discuss and cover:
- What does nutrient deficient behavior look like in kids (and adults for that matter!) and could this be something you are working with.
- How to incorporate whole foods into your family diet without spending ALL your time in the kitchen.
- We will look at what areas your family is struggling the most and create a tangible plan to change this (think tantrums and tears at mealtime, Tweens not wanting to eat breakfast, kids only eating a small repertoire of foods).
- Tangible strategies you can use to overcome objections to introducing new foods to your family
- Recipes, ideas, and loads of tools to support you along your journey!
I use a sniper approach with this program so you can feel calm and confident taking a bold step with one issue at a time. Each session is between 45-60 minutes in length and is conducted either in person (wherever possible), via video conference, or via telephone. Through adjusting my own diet and health practices I am the happiest and healthiest I have been in 20 years, my children have a keen interest and understanding about nutrition, whole foods and most importantly, we are a tight-knit, close and engaged family who always puts each other first.
